About Kali

My love for fitness started early as a competitive gymnast and dancer. After receiving my medical degree, I continued my quest in health and wellness by treating injuries as an orthopedic surgeon, and preventing them by sharing my knowledge of mindful movement through fitness. I'm a 600HR certified Pilates instructor, a 200HR Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher, and a Reiki Master Practitioner. I also hold certifications in barre, group fitness, and Redcord suspension training. I specialize in bringing mindfulness and stress release through Pilates, yoga, and meditation. I'm also the owner of a yoga studio, Sati Yoga & Wellness, located in Kirkwood.

Teaching style

I'm an intuitive teacher. I get a sense of what the class or individual needs and tailor the workout to fit those needs.

Favorite exercise

Shoulder Roll Down with the spring-loaded push-thru bar on the tower. It never fails to release any tightness in my lower back.

Fun fact

I was one of the original members of the Abby Lee Dance Company, as seen on the TV show Dance Moms. I'm also a yoga teacher and studio owner, and a huge tennis nerd.
