I have always loved movement, trying everything from basketball, to track, to gymnastics since I was a kid. In college, I wanted to find more mindful movement and decided to pursue a 200hr Power Yoga Certificate. Through a studio I was teaching at was introduced to the reformer! I fell in love with the ability to move mindfully while adding resistance. The therapeutic ability of Pilates to achieve better physical and metal wellbeing of the practitioner is so important to me, as I’ve found it very healing myself.

After performing professionally with a contemporary ballet company in Atlanta, she found yoga and Pilates in college as a way to reconnect with movement after dance burnout. Kiersten earned her 200HR yoga certification in 2020, Classical Mat Pilates certification in 2023, and recently completed her comprehensive Pilates training through The Studio. She believes Pilates is truly for every body and should feel accessible, empowering, and supportive - not intimidating. Her classes focus on helping clients move better in their everyday lives, from standing taller to walking longer and feeling more comfortable in their bodies. I’ve always loved being active, but I truly fell in love with Pilates after starting work post-college. Sitting for long periods made me appreciate how Pilates both strengthens and stretches the body, building stability while restoring the spine, opening the chest, and creating balance. Beyond just movement, Pilates has been a way to reconnect with both the mind and body, offering a holistic approach to movement. I completed my comprehensive training at Gramercy Pilates in New York before moving back to Atlanta. It only took one class for me to fall in love with Pilates. After a car accident, years spent behind a desk, and wobbly knees from competitive cheerleading, I discovered that Pilates helped me build strength (in the often overlooked muscles) and connect to my body in a way I hadn’t before. I pursued teacher training to better understand and improve my own practice; but It didn’t take long to realize I wanted to share my passion for Pilates with others. I completed my 500+ hour Comprehensive Pilates training through Balanced Body, and graduated from the Mentorship program at The Studio this year! Meet Frances, originally from a small town in Northern Wisconsin, she started her journey in the fitness industry in 2019 getting her personal training certification and health and wellness diploma. Frances moved to Georgia right after Covid in May 2020, that’s when she started taking her sister’s Pilates classes. She realized the benefits Pilates has for people with injuries and how supplementing it with strength training has soo many positive benefits. Frances jumped right into the teacher training. Lexxi discovered Pilates after being involved in a hit & run car accident that left her with minor bursitis in one knee and a herniated disc in her lumbar spine. Before the accident, she enjoyed heavy weight lifting and cardio but was cautious about getting back into her routine and not interfering with chiropractic adjustments. And thus, her love for Pilates was born! She originally picked up Mat Pilates to learn more about the foundations until she took her first class at The Studio. The community The Studio has to offer from the exceptionally knowledgable instructors to a beautiful and peaceful space to move, she was inspired to become an Instructor. Lexxi completed her 500-hr Comprehensive Certification in Dec 2024 and she continues to learn, grow and find enjoyment within the Contrology that Pilates brings.

I am originally from Puerto Rico and grew up dancing, which sparked a lifelong connection to movement. After hip surgery in my teens, I discovered Pilates during rehabilitation as a way to rebuild strength, restore flexibility, and reconnect with my body. What began as part of my recovery quickly evolved into a transformative mind–body practice that reshaped my relationship with movement and with myself. Pilates not only helped me trust my body again, but also cultivated mental resilience and self-belief that now extend into every aspect of my life. Inspired by this journey, I became a Pilates instructor to help others discover the same strength and resilience within themselves—enhancing not only the way they move, but their overall quality of life.

Macy used to think exercise was just for masochists and working out consisted of running on a treadmill then wandering around the gym looking at the machines. When she discovered low-impact fitness classes in college, she loved how fitness can actually feel empowering rather than defeating. She has been teaching barre since 2017 and in mid-2025 she graduated the apprenticeship program at The Studio with Jaclyn and completed her comprehensive Pilates certification. Her favorite aspect of Pilates is the emphasis on the spine and the postural benefits. Macy’s classes are upbeat with bumpin’ playlists and she wants everyone to leave class feeling accomplished.

Kelli is an Atlanta native who has always seen movement as a form of self-expression and therapeutic release. Growing up as a competitive gymnast and dancer, she was drawn to Pilates after years of high-impact sports left her searching for something kinder to her body. She quickly fell in love with Pilates for its low-impact approach and its ability to build strength without aggravating old injuries, especially in the hips and back. Kelli began her journey at The Studio Pilates in 2023 as a dedicated student and immediately felt inspired to pursue the teacher training program to expand her knowledge of the Pilates method and encourage others in feeling strong, balanced and confident. She hopes to have a positive and lasting impact on her students just as her instructors have had on her. Kelli is certified in Mat, Reformer, and Tower, and is currently working toward her comprehensive certification in Cadillac, Chair, and Barrel.

At $15, the same-day pass is the cheapest per-class drop-in we offer. Packs and memberships actually cost more per class. What you're paying for with a pack isn't a discount, it's access: priority booking, advance booking, the ability to waitlist a full class, and members-only events. How the $15 same-day pass works.

What's a same-day pass, exactly?

A single-class pass priced at $15, valid only on the day you buy it. Built for people who decide that morning they want to come to class. No commitment, no membership, no monthly. Use it on any open reformer, Tower, mat, or specialty class at the studio you bought it for.

Why's it so cheap?

It's our way of filling open spots same-day. We'd rather have you in class than have an empty reformer. The trade-off: you can't waitlist with it (only book into actually-open spots), and the pass expires at midnight the day you buy it.

Can I use an Emory pass at West Midtown (or vice versa)?

No. Passes are studio-specific. Same-day passes for Emory only work at our Emory Village studio. West Midtown passes only at our West Midtown studio. Make sure you grab the right one.

Why are there three passes per location?

They're identical: same $15, same rules. We list three because each one has limited monthly inventory; if Pass 1 shows sold out, Pass 2 or 3 will still have spots. They all do the same thing.

Can I waitlist a full class with this pass?

No. The pass only books into open spots. If a class shows full, you'd need a regular class credit or a membership to waitlist it. Or check back; same-day cancellations happen all the time.

I'm brand new. Should I use this or your intro deal?

If you're truly brand-new to The Studio, we have a few first-timer-only options that may fit better, including a $45 two-class trial (either studio, 30 days), a $90 eight-class starter at $11.25/class (Emory only, 30 days), and a $120 two-week unlimited for a burst week (either studio). See them all on our Start Here page. The $15 same-day pass is more for repeat drop-ins or out-of-towners who already know what they're doing.

How do I redeem it after I buy?

Once your $15 pass is in your Momence account, find any class today with open spots and tap "Book". Momence applies the pass automatically. See today's open classes ↑

Do you update these monthly?

Yep. New same-day passes go up the last day of each month. The links on this page always point to the current month's passes for both studios.
