After struggling with chronic back pain as a teenager, I discovered pilates not only helped relieve my pain, but gave me a better understanding of how to connect to my core.
I love seeing the moment when something clicks, and the client is able to make the connection between body and mind.
We love Aly for her ability to make class fun, while still focusing on form and bringing the heat.
Aly’s Favorite Pilates Exercise? I really enjoy teaching the pelvic tilt. The pelvic tilt is essential in every level of pilates. It’s not always the easiest to teach because it’s hard to disassociate your pelvis from the lower back but taking the time to find that connection changes your pilates journey. Teaching our members the difference between a neutral spine and an imprinted spine takes patience but once they make that connection it makes everything worth it.
Aly’s Teaching Style? I would describe my teaching as tough love sprinkled with corny/dad jokes in between. Sometimes I sound really strict but if a break a needed I’ll be sure to encourage you to take that break.

“I’m happy to answer any questions clients have after the class. It can be pilates related, personal etc. I want people to get to know me and I want to get to know you! “
