Meet Lexxi

Lexxi discovered Pilates after being involved in a hit & run car accident that left her with minor bursitis in one knee and a herniated disc in her lumbar spine. Before the accident, she enjoyed heavy weight lifting and cardio but was cautious about getting back into her routine and not interfering with chiropractic adjustments. And thus, her love for Pilates was born! She originally picked up Mat Pilates to learn more about the foundations until she took her first class at The Studio. The community The Studio has to offer from the exceptionally knowledgable instructors to a beautiful and peaceful space to move, she was inspired to become an Instructor. Lexxi completed her 500-hr Comprehensive Certification in Dec 2024 and she continues to learn, grow and find enjoyment within the Contrology that Pilates brings.

Lexxi’s Teaching Style? Lexxi brings a blend of precision, flow, and strength with a strong focus on form and core activation. She prioritizes controlled, intentional movements while incorporating mindfulness and breathwork to enhance muscle engagement. Her energy is motivating and engaging, encouraging clients to push past mental limits while staying connected to their bodies.

Lexxi’s Favorite Pilates Exercise? Lexxi loves a good Short Spine! It helps to strengthen the deep abdominal muscles to support and align the spine and leads to improving posture and reduce back pain.

Lexxi’s Playlist Might Include:Music is Lexxi’s second language so be prepared to hear anything and everything on one of her playlist!

Fun Fact: Lexxi is an undercover nerd! Books, instruments/music, films, video games, plants, animals, pilates… you name it, she’s full of interesting little tidbits of knowledge.
