Teacher Training
with The Studio

Hey, hey, hey! Are you passionate about Pilates and want to get certified to teach? We have got you covered!  We will teach you everything from anatomy to how to plan classes, cue properly, while also receiving the mentorship and practice hours to meet ITTAP and NPCP standards. Our mat program is currently ITTAP accredited and the remainder of our comprehensive program is in the final review process with ITTAP. Our NPCP certified teachers will work with you through different learning methods, from online modules to in-person practicing and hands-on demos. And guess what? Comprehensive Teacher Training Program

 A 12-Month, 450-Hour Pilates Education Pathway

Become a confident, well-rounded Pilates instructor through our year-long comprehensive teacher training program. Designed for dedicated movers ready to deepen their practice and elevate their teaching, this immersive experience covers Mat, Reformer, Tower/Cadillac, Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector, and Wunda Chair.

Our curriculum follows all standards set by the International Teacher Training Accreditation for Pilates (ITTAP) and is guided by National Pilates Certification Program (NPCP) expectations. You’ll gain the knowledge, hands-on experience, and professional readiness needed to thrive in the Pilates industry.

Jaclyn brings an energetic, accessible teaching style grounded in classical foundations and contemporary biomechanics. She leads all modules, observations, and test-outs—ensuring every trainee receives mentorship, clarity, and continuous support.

PROGRAM TIMELINE 

(12 Months)

0. Anatomy Online Course Completion

September  1– October 1 2026 • Online Test and 80% pass required by Mat Start

1. Mat Certification

October  – November 2026 • Test-Out in December
Build your foundation: Pilates principles, movement mechanics, anatomy, cueing, sequencing, and full Mat repertoire.

2. Reformer Certification

Jan – March 2027 • Test-Out in March
Learn the full Reformer system, including spring dynamics, safe apparatus handling, progressions, regressions, and intermediate/advanced repertoire.

3. Tower / Cadillac Certification

April– June  2027• Test-Out in June
Explore vertical and horizontal spring work, multi-planar programming, spotting techniques, and apparatus-specific biomechanics.

4. Barrels & Chair Certification

July– August  2027• Final Test-Out in Aug / Sep
Train on Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector, and Wunda Chair while refining your advanced teaching, programming, and assessment skills.

PROGRAM COMPONENTS 

(450 Hours Total)

A complete and balanced teacher education experience, including:

  • 125 hours classroom & lecture

  • 110 hours observation

  • 75 hours self-practice

  • 50 hours student teaching

  • 20 hours QTT-assisted teaching

  • 50 hours private/group sessions with QTT

  • 15 hours QTT observation of student teaching

  • Final Written & Practical Exams

You’ll graduate not only knowing the repertoire, but you’ll understand why movements work, how to teach with clarity and confidence, and how to create transformative client experience.
