Meet Ranna
Born and raised in Atlanta, I began teaching in 2018 after completing my 500-Hour Comprehensive Pilates Teaching Program. My favorite classes to teach are stretch classes and beginner flow classes. I’m also currently pursuing a career in nursing and attending school.
Ranna’s Teaching Style? My teaching style is rooted in inclusivity. I like to teach my classes through progressions starting with modifications so everyone in my class feels like they have options in customizing their own workout based on how they feel that day.
Ranna’s Favorite Pilates Exercise? Bridge articulations. Articulations release a tight lower back to relieve pressure between each vertebrae.
Fun Facts: I enjoy collecting plants, propagating plants, and sharing plants with my friends. I am still slowly but surely learning to play guitar. I have a senior citizen cat named Sparkles. I am pursuing my degree in Nursing at Emory this Fall. I was encouraged to do Pilates by my physical therapist after years of aches and pains from tormenting myself with running and HIIT workouts. Pilates has given me the opportunity to move my body pain free. I am so grateful for that, and even more grateful to be able to share all that I have learned with my friends at The Studio.
Ranna’s Playlist Might Include: Anything by the Spice Girls!
I’m excited to help you reach your full potential, and I look forward to seeing you in The Studio soon!
