Meet Rachel
I’m a certificated Yoga and Pilates instructor. I began teaching Yoga in 2018, after completing a 200-hour teacher training program. I discovered my love for Pilates after sustaining a wrist injury and loved the strength I got from my Pilates practice (especially the core strength!). Rachel completed her trainer certification in 2019. I think of my classes as creative and focused on alignment. I want my clients to leave feeling strong and energized and I love seeing their progress and the difference Pilates makes in their lives.
Rachel’s Teaching Style? Alignment-focused, athletic, encouraging, and fun.
Rachel’s Favorite Pilates Exercise? Swan. I spend a lot of my day at a desk, so I need spinal extension exercises to prevent back & neck pain.
Fun facts: I grew up on an island on the Jersey shore. My hobbies include weight-training, roller skating, and spending time with my pup, Basil. I love spending my weekends outside, at the pool or on a rooftop listening to music. I know every Taylor Swift song by heart and am obsessed with everything on Bravo. Please feel free to share restaurant recommendations with me – I’m always looking for new spots!
Rachel’s Playlist Might Include: Passionfruit by Drake, Coffee by Sylvan Esso, Notice Me by SZA
“I’m excited to help you reach your full potential, and I look forward to seeing you in The Studio soon!”
